Technical Animation
I design advanced mechanical and robotic rigs in Autodesk Maya, blending technical accuracy with creative flexibility. My work covers realistic motion simulation, precise articulation, and real-time visualization.
Using Python and MEL, I create custom tools and automation scripts that streamline workflows, enable dynamic constraints, and support procedural motion systems reflecting real-world robotic behavior. I also build interactive digital prototypes that connect engineering design with visual storytelling.
Animation Shows
FX & Animation Artist
Worked on Mecha Builders, The Ice Princess, and Kingdom Force—popular children’s shows in North America. Created procedural effects using Houdini and Maya, contributing to visually engaging and story-driven animation.
A Passage to ...
“A Passage to …” is a 100-second film created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of cinema, as part of the “100 Seconds Look at Cinema” international film festival. The film won 6th place among 500 young filmmakers in 1996.
I created the film entirely on my own, using a VHS camcorder and an AMIGA 1200 computer for production and editing.
PinkPanther
2007
“As part of my self-training in Maya, I built, rigged, and animated a 3D character model. To showcase various aspects of Maya’s capabilities—modeling, rigging, animation, lighting, and rendering—I decided to create a short animation. Inspired by the surreal and stylized tone of the Pink Panther, this piece serves as both a technical demonstration and a creative storytelling project.”
This project not only served as a technical and creative exploration but also earned an animation prize at a Toronto contest in 2007.”
