About me:
My creative journey began in 1985 when I was accepted into the most prestigious and renowned university for Architecture and Urbanism in my home country. After years of rigorous academic and design training, I proudly graduated in 1997 with a strong foundation in architecture, urban planning, and visual communication.
During my studies, I was honored to contribute to one of Iran’s most significant infrastructure projects—the international airport of I.K.I.A in Tehran—working alongside the renowned French design team from Aéroports de Paris (ADP). Around the same time, I began exploring computer graphics, a passion that would shape the next chapter of my career.
That passion led me to create a short animated film entirely on my own—writing, acting, filming, editing, and producing all the computer graphics using an AMIGA 1200. This solo project earned 6th place out of 500 entries at the 1996 International Young Filmmakers Festival, affirming my future in visual storytelling.
After immigrating to Canada in 2006, I pursued formal education in the film industry and graduated with honors from Seneca College of Art and Technology in Toronto in 2008, specializing in Film and Television with a focus on Visual Effects.
Since then, I have worked professionally across a wide range of leading VFX studios in Toronto and Vancouver, as well as with Canadian branches of major American film companies. My credits span numerous high-profile Hollywood films and television productions, where I’ve contributed to complex visual effects, animation, and cinematic sequences.
Alongside my film industry work, I continue to draw on my architectural expertise to create sophisticated design visualizations and presentations for private clients and architectural firms.
